The award-winning Memphis Zoo and Children’s Museum of Memphis offer family-friendly excursions (check out the zoo’s LIVE ANIMAL CAMS!). Brooks Museum of Art is the oldest and largest art museum in Tennessee, and the Memphis Botanic Garden, and the Dixon Garden and Gallery are both located adjacent to the HST campus.

The National Civil Rights Museum, located at the Lorraine Motel where Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was assassinated, is an important part of our cultural heritage.
