HST Run for the Son | 5K – POSTPONED
We appreciate your prayers and support as we carefully monitor potential impact of the global health crisis on the HST community. Because of increasing concerns related to COVID-19 and in order to reduce risk of its spread, Harding School of Theology’s annual 5k, scheduled for March 28th, is postponed.

“The Mansion”
The 19th annual Run for the Son 5K is a family-friendly race – timed for serious runners (non-chipped) – but open to everyone, including virtual participants. There is even a t-shirt only option for those who want to support HST students but are unable to participate in the run or walk. The inclusion of a 1.5 mile walk and simple activities for children add to the festive atmosphere. The race begins and ends on Harding School of Theology’s campus at 1000 Cherry Road, taking runners and walkers through the beautiful surrounding neighborhood in the heart of East Memphis. The backdrop of the event is the historic mansion on the HST campus which was once part of E. L. King’s estate (circa 1933). Mansion tours available after the race.
