Latin American Missions Sabbatical
Harding School of Theology announces a new Latin American Missions Sabbatical beginning July 2014.
The sabbatical recipient will be an outstanding male or female missionary, church worker or ministry leader based in a Church of Christ in Latin America. The sabbatical is made possible by a generous grant that will provide funds through 2018.
The sabbatical is for a period of between three to six months, from July to December, 2014. The sabbatical recipient is to be based at HST in Memphis. The grant could be used to provide airfare, housing on campus, food, transportation, tuition for audit or credit courses, Christian counselling and visiting churches or ministries in the area.
The sabbatical recipient is also expected to participate in the Harding University Bible Lectureship (conducted in the Fall each year) and other special events at Harding University and HST for spiritual renewal and to promote missions in Latin America.
