EDWARD J. ROBINSON, Ph.D (HST M.Div.), associate professor of history and religion at Texas College, has published seven books, including To Save My Race from Abuse: The Life of Samuel Robert Cassius, A Godsend to His People: The Essential Writings and Speeches of Marshall Keeble, and I Was Under a Heavy Burden: The Life of Annie C. The Panel
Carisse Mickey Berryhill, PhD (HST MA in Church History), is Special Collections Librarian at Abilene Christian University’s Brown Library. Before coming to ACU, she was Associate Librarian at HST (1992-2004), and Professor of English at Lubbock Christian University (1975-1992). Berryhill holds advanced degrees in English, library science, and church history. She does research in rhetoric in the Stone-Campbell religious reform movement of the 19th Century and its 18th Century Scottish roots. She currently serves as chair of the Corporation Board of Restoration Quarterly.
B. Chris Simpson (HST MACM) has served in ministry at Holmes Road Church of Christ since 2012. He is gifted at communication, sharing faith, and casting vision. He thrives in community outreach, young adult ministry, church administration, and preaching rotation. Simpson is married to his best friend, Halley. They have two children, Elle and Grey.
Bob Turner (HST M.Div.) serves as the Library Director for HST and is on the preaching team for the Church of Christ at White Station. He has been with HST since 2009. He publishes a newsletter of curated resources for ministers called Footnotes (subscribe here). Turner is married to Andrea and they have two daughters, Julia and Kathryn.
