Harding School of Theology will challenge you intellectually, but the environment is one of mutual support, rather than competition. The intimate campus and global community connect together out of a shared vision of service in God’s Kingdom.
Because improved service in God’s kingdom is the goal for all activities here, students are expected to have involvement in faith communities where they can serve and apply what they are learning. Students find additional opportunities for meaningful service through many of the local outreach ministries. Every faculty and staff member is involved in ministries ranging from serving in a local food pantry to teaching Bible classes, to preaching, to leading in international missions organizations. All degree programs have components designed so that you can reflectively engage in appropriate field or research experiences.
You grow best when challenged, and so the academic standards at HST will challenge you to be the best thinker and servant-leader possible. Faculty members have distinguished themselves in their fields of study, and continue their on-going research. The library offers second-to-none service and remarkable resources for exploration and research.
