The Security Church of Christ in Colorado Springs, Colorado is currently searching for a part-time or full-time preacher. We are located next to Fort Carson, NORAD, and Peterson AFB. Our current membership of 25-30 consists mostly of senior-aged members. The job duties would include preaching the Sunday morning and evening sermons and teaching either the Sunday or Wednesday Bible classes on a semi-regular basis. With the assistance of the membership, he would also conduct Bible studies and other personal work. We expect the preacher to put into practice what is preached according to the Word and be an example in motivating and encouraging the membership to bring others to Christ. We do not currently have elders so decisions are made at Men’s Business Meetings. We are able to provide a small salary which can be expected to increase as the minister assists us in growing the membership to serve the Lord. “NorthWest Church of Christ in San Antonio, Texas, is a church striving to be God’s Changing People. Local Outreach Minister
The NorthWest Church of Christ is a congregation of almost 600 people in the Northwest part of San Antonio, Texas. Our vision is to be a loving family of believers who are evangelistic and mission driven, with family-based youth and children’s ministries, in a loving, safe and inviting environment, where true, spiritual worship honoring God takes place every day of our lives. Roles and Responsibilities:
Primary: Work with the Minister of the Word and through the members to share with those around us the good news about Jesus and God’s grace through his death and resurrection: • Organize and direct a strong evangelistic outreach ministry within the local church and community. We began this process with our current minister who is changing to part time to spend more time with her own family. 2/29/12 Worship and Family Ministry
East Hill Church of Christ is a congregation of approximately 400 members including over 120 children with over 60 of them in grades 6 through 12. The Worship and Family Minister’s role is that of facilitating church growth through two areas; collective worship and family life. The Worship and Family Minister position bears several key responsibilities.
The first responsibility involves the coordination of the Sunday morning worship. The Worship and Family Minister will serve as the worship coordinator and member of the Worship Committee, as well as coaching, training, mentoring, and leading others to serve in corporate worship time. The Worship and Family Minister is expected to be one of several who serve as worship leader. His organizational and networking skills must equip him to effectively plan weekly services and to involve a diverse group of individuals in leading worship in a vibrant, biblical approach that promotes spiritual development of the congregation.
Second, the Worship and Family Minister is responsible for all family education programs. This includes indirect involvement in coordinating all education programs for both Sunday morning and Wednesday classes for the middle school and high school. Since families include a broad age group, curriculum development will include teaching parents how to lead their children for positive spiritual growth, encouraging teens to resist negative lifestyle choices, and guiding parents and children in improving family communication skills. The Worship and Family Minister will serve as a member of the Youth Steering Committee and act as the coordinator of the youth interns (4 total: split 2 each between the middle school and high school).
East Hill Church of Christ is located across the street from York College of which approximately 50 percent of its students are members of the Church of Christ. The Worship and Family Minister will work collaboratively with a Senior Minister, a Children’s Education Coordinator, and nine shepherds.

2/22/12 Youth and Family Ministry Summer Intern
The Park Forest church of Christ, located in Matteson, IL (a southern suburb of Chicago) is looking for a summer intern for their youth and family ministry. There are approximately 15-20 youths in 7th-12th grade. Between February 27th to April 6th, the church will engage in forty days of prayer and fasting for the
youth and family ministry. The intern will work with a deacon, serve alongside a preaching minister and counseling minister and under the supervision of six shepherds. He will be engaged in teaching on Sundays and Wednesdays and Vacation Bible School, encouraging involvement of youth at Memorial Day Retreat
and in weeklong sessions at Rockford Christian Camp, as well as attending the first two sessions of camp himself. He will work with the deacon and parents to arrange devotionals and other activities that will strengthen the youth who are here as well as reach out to others in the community. It is our prayer that the
work done by the intern will open a door for the right person to carry on a full-time youth and family ministry here in the fall. The church will provide housing with a family in the church as well as $300-$400 per week in salary. The Central congregation in Shawnee, OK is seeking an individual to provide leadership and ministerial and educational services to the youth and families of Central. The responsibilities of this position include teaching and coordinating middle and high school classes, developing and implementing a plan for the year of teen activities, facilitating activities that will build and promote spiritual growth and relationships within Central’s families, their children and their youth., promote opportunities for fellowship with area congregations, equipping and training the youth for leadership roles and providing counsel, prayer and spiritual instruction.
The ideal candidate should be married, a person of strong personal faith and convictions and is well grounded in Scripture. He should be a college graduate, preferably with a degree beneficial to the work of ministry and preferably with a minimum of two years ministerial experience. He should have a passion for the ministry to youth and families.
Shawnee is a community with a population around 30,000 located approximately 35 miles east of Oklahoma City. The Central congregation has 225 members served by elders, deacons and a full time pulpit minister and has a strong core group of families and youth.
